Visa requirements overview

As of January 1, 2023, the Schengen acquis is fully applicable in the Republic of Croatia as a Schengen Area Member State. The visa regime of the Republic of Croatia aligns with the EU acquis. From this date, Schengen visas (Types A and C) and national long-term visas (Type D) are issued at Croatian diplomatic missions and consular offices. Third-country nationals, whether they require a visa or not, may stay in the Schengen Area for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
