Registration Process for DESIGN 2026
Registration for the 19th International Design Conference – DESIGN 2026 opens on February 2nd. To register, please log in to the DESIGN 2026 ConfTool system (the link is provided at the bottom of this page). If you do not yet have a ConfTool account, you will first need to create one. After logging in, select the option “Register as Participant” and follow the on-screen instructions.
Detailed information regarding registration terms, fees, VAT, and other important conditions is provided below.
Upon successful registration, participants will receive a confirmation email containing a link to download their proforma invoice, together with detailed payment instructions. All registration fees include VAT and are defined according to payment periods. Payments received after the deadline of a selected period will automatically be charged according to the next applicable fee category, and the price difference will be invoiced accordingly.
Payment Methods
Payments can be made by credit card (MasterCard, Visa) or bank transfer (SEPA). All payments are processed in EUR, the official currency of the Republic of Croatia.

** The accompanying person fee includes access only to the official social programme (welcome reception, gala dinner, farewell event). It does not include access to scientific sessions or conference materials.
VAT and Invoice Information
In accordance with Article 53 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC, conference registration fees are subject to VAT in the country where the event takes place. For DESIGN 2026, Croatian VAT at the applicable rate (currently 25%) is included in the registration fee.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that their invoice details are correct at the time of registration. Invoice data cannot be modified after issuance. EU companies and institutions must provide a valid VAT number recognized by the VIES system. If a VAT number is missing or not recognized, VAT will be applied and is non-refundable. The organizer cannot be held responsible for VAT recovery issues arising from incorrect or missing VAT information.
Paper Registration
For each accepted paper, at least one co-author must be registered as a participant. During registration, authors must indicate their paper number. One registered participant may register up to two papers.
Organizer Information
The professional congress organizer PerfectMeetings.hr manages participant registration for DESIGN 2026. Participants receive an automatic confirmation email with a proforma invoice and payment link upon registration, while the final invoice is issued by Ms. Nina Dumančić or Ms. Tara Trager after payment.

Participants are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with visa and entry requirements applicable to their nationality.
