the Design Society

Founded in March 2000 at Rigi-Kaltbad, Swizerland and registered in Glasgow, UK, the Design Society is organised to bring to the worldwide communiy opportunities for sharing design expertise and for celebrating the design experience. The work of the Design Society extends from the foundational efforts of the International Organisation of Design Science (WDK). Over more then 20 years, the WDK organised scores of workshops on topic of interest to designers worldwide and coordinated biannual meetings of the international design community at International Conferences of Engineering Design (ICED).
