presentation instructions

PRESENTATIONS ON THE SESSIONS ORGANIZED BY TOPIC

(15+5 minutes per presentation)

Please introduce yourself to the session Chair in the room in which you will be presenting 15 minutes before the session is due to commence. An audio-visual assistant will also be present to answer any queries you may have regarding your presentation and you will have an opportunity to run through your presentation material.

Fifteen minutes has been allocated for the presentation, with an additional five at the end allowed for questions from delegates or the session Chair. All contributions scheduled for presentation will be avilable for all participants in advance, two weeks before the conference. We believe this time will enable participants to prepare for the discussion.

Computer based projection facilities will be available in the conference rooms, presenter should use Microsoft PowerPoint. Recommended resolution is 1024 x 768. A pdf viewer will also be available.

Authors will be kindly requested to upload the presentation and short presentor biography through the conference content management system. Your presentations will be preinstalled on the computers in the lecture room according to the conference schedule.

CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS

The workshop should broaden the discussion and come to generally agreed statements about topic. PLEASE NOTE that workshop Chairs will structure and adapt the general workshop format and send information to participants. The workshop discussion will be summarized in the Workshop Notes by Chairs and published on the conference web site and The Design Society SIGs pages.

It will be helpful that your presentation and issues you would raise to discussion could be summarized in leaflets that could be left at the side for others to discuss/access. Further details should be discussed with workshop Chairs.
